Nana Mouskouri came for the second time to Romania on December 4 this year (2011), for a concert to be held at Sala Palatului in the capital city. She came in Romania for the first time in 2008 for a UNICEF charity gala. Part of the money raised from the concert to be held this year will also be donated to UNICEF, the organization whose ambassador Nana Mouskouri has been from 1993.

Jean Paul Gaultier promises Nana Mouskouri to come watch her Bucharest performance! The wardrobe Nana Mouskouri will wear at her Sunday concert at the Palace Hall will be created by famous designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Moreover, Gaultier reportedly promised the artist that he will be in the audience at the concert. Gaultier is known as an egocentric and extravagant designer. He is one of the most famous fashion designers and one of the best sold brands internationally. He is known as the “enfant terrible” of French fashion, but it seems Mouskouri was attracted by his ideas and is wearing clothes designed by him more often. At her Berlin concert on November 28 she was wearing a dress made by the famous designer. And she will wear another Gaultier outfit at the Bucharest show on December 4. Rumor has it that Gaultier will come to Bucharest to attend Nana Mouskouri’s concert at the Palace Hall. He reportedly made the promise to the singer while they had diner on Tuesday evening, after her Berlin concert. The artist will hold a special recital at the Palace Hall on Sunday, starting from 8 pm. She gladly accepted Project Events’ invitation to perform in Romania. Tickets are almost sold out. They can be purchased at the Palace Hall, the BILETOO shop in Unirea Shopping Center (ground floor) and in Flanco stores. Source : bucharestherald.ro
